  • Denise Greene - Founder & CEO

    After a long stint in the corporate world – which included running her own business and spending 26 years in relationship management and marketing, Denise has worked with governments, CEO’s and business owners both in a consultancy and implementation role. Advising senior management and generating revenue through the implementation of effective business practices Denise managed long-term partnerships with businesses such as British Airways, Virgin, Quintessentially, overseas government boards and many more on her client’s behalf. With experience in business management, relationship building and multi-level communications she brings a wealth of business experience to the Foundation.

    Denise discovered the power of complementary therapies including meditation, breathwork, reiki, reflexology and much more through her own life experiences. After years of study and practice, she now offers services within the complementary sector and inspires her clients on a 1-2-1 basis through her company, Crystal Blue.

    Denise is the founder of the Beyond Boundaries Foundation, a concept that she developed from her years as a health & wellbeing practitioner and is now delighted to ensure this resource is delivered to the wider community where she is passionate about closing the societal divide.

    Alongside her natural disposition towards compassion, empathy, and kindness, and her genuine passion for making a difference in people’s lives, Denise brings to the Foundation a strong business mindset and acumen, which make her shine both as Founder and the CEO.

  • Jilly Holland - Trustee

    Jilly’s extremely versatile professional experience – which includes working in sales, marketing, organisation, administration, and planning – coupled with her language skills (she is fluent in English, French, and Spanish) make her a valuable asset to the Beyond Boundaries Foundation team, where she stands out for her creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovative thinking. Her career includes 10 years working as a Dow Jones Telerate, achieving awards for her sales achievements for the Benelux region which involved management of Tier 1 banks in Belgium and France such as Credit Lyonnais, Credit Agricole Indosuez, Société Générale, ABN Amro and JP Morgan. Her Contacts were at C level and the average contract value ranged from US$ 360,000 to US$ 500,000.

    Experienced in business operations, Jilly ran her own business for 10 years where she designed and manufactured (and imported) the entire Own Label (JL branded) boy and girls range of bedroom accessories for John Lewis (coat pegs, storage boxes, mirrors, bookshelves). Additionally, she supplied Harrods, The Conran Shop, The National Trust and Jojo Maman Bebe (amongst others).

    During the first pandemic lockdown Jilly set up and managed the Help NHS Heroes charitable volunteer scheme at the Royal Berkshire Hospital which supplied food boxes to NHS staff, handled donations from companies such as Harrods and Thorntons and managed not only the orders but the provisioning for the boxes and a pool of approximately 60 volunteers.

    Jilly has a deep understanding of well-being practices and has chosen to incorporate them into her busy life, as well as support people with their personal development, making her passionate about the objectives of the foundation.

  • Liz Elward - Trustee

    Having worked across many industries at senior management level, Liz knows exactly what a strong, positive, and empowering company culture should be like.

    Liz is passionate about driving change and making a real difference in people’s well-being, especially those in harder-to-reach and marginalised communities.

    Liz started her career at Virgin Atlantic. Customer service development and the responsibility for the delivery of the unique customer experience of Virgin Atlantic, as well as its safe and reliable operations is engrained in her. A Business Development role at BMW, directed the startup of new initiatives, forward thinking and innovative implementation of a Customer/Channel long-term strategy and business plans. Bringing the customer into the business by aligning company and customer plans.

    Liz loves life and people and is motivated by .he Foundations diverse reach across cultures and the community.

  • Sarah Henderson - Trustee

    A kind and compassionate leader, creative thinker and utter believer in the vital importance of making tangible, positive impact whenever she can. Sarah owns a creative agency that aims to “make the world a bit better, every single day”. Sarah loves collaborating with like-minded people, which led her to join the Beyond Boundaries Foundation as a Trustee. Throughout a 24 year career as a creative Sarah has supported brands such as Lamborghini, Shell, Harley Davidson and Bang & Olufsen.

    Sarah is a firm believer in the balance between pharmaceutical and complimentary therapies and believes everyone should have the choice to make informed decisions about what works for them. She is committed to the purpose of the foundation to shape a better future. Moral principles are central to her life and her work, they underpin who she is and are not simply business values.

    No mask- She is true to herself and never pretends to be something she isn’t. She brings it all and expects everyone to be free to do the same. She cares about being real.

    Kindness - She does what she says she will do and strives to help others from a place of kindness and good intentions, always.

    Creativity - Always curious and exploring new possibilities. She loves using her expertise to challenge and push what is possible and believes creativity is what makes us human.

    Quality relationships - She cares. A lot. She works for and with nice people to create powerful partnerships.

  • Hannah Sparkes - Trustee

    Hannah is proof that, when combined correctly, traditional medicine and complementary therapies can indeed enhance our holistic wellbeing. As an experienced nurse, Reiki practitioner, and somatic and anxiety coach, Hannah is a precious source of wisdom, expertise, and scientific knowledge for the Beyond Boundaries Foundation.

    With 20 years of experience working in the NHS, including as a sister in both a children’s intensive care unit and an A&E department, and most recently in a public health role, Hannah brings invaluable understanding and knowledge to the foundation through her work inside and out of the NHS, including close work with many services such as UK and US military medical teams, social care and youth offending teams and also through working with Safer Spaces, a CIC providing support for women and girls who have been affected by domestic and/or sexual violence.

    Hannah runs her own coaching business, focussing on helping people to move forward in their own lives after being affected by a partners addiction allowing her to bring a strong understanding of the needs of many of the chosen beneficiaries.

    Hannah has not only learnt but used many complementary practices to enhance her own well-being and is a firm believer in the deliverables the foundation offers.

  • Kish Wilkinson - Trustee

    Working as a PR consultant including for clients such as the British Heart Foundation, the Dyslexia Institute and I CAN (operating as Speech and Language UK) within the charity sector, Kish is very well-versed in understanding how important it is to communicate messages that resonate with the audience, inspire action and foster meaningful change. With an array of PR experience across many industry sectors Kish has 30 years of experience working with driving awareness to consumers including niche markets.

    To compliment this experience Kish is a qualified Reiki practitioner, who has a deeper personal understanding of how the wellbeing practices the BBF shares can help people navigate life’s challenges. Kish currently sees clients on a 1-2-1 basis and has witnessed personally, the need to make practices that support mental wellbeing accessible to a much wider audience in the UK.

    As a Trustee who knows the best ways to convey the Beyond Boundaries’ mission to the wider public, she is instrumental in ensuring the foundation encourages people to join the cause and invest in self-care and wellbeing – firstly their own and therefore making it possible for them to pay it forward and donate to the foundations goals to deliver wellbeing practices to the Foundation’s beneficiaries.

    A firm believer in the concept and practice, Kish is passionate in ensuring the reach and achievement of the foundation’s primary concern.

  • Alistair Clarke - Trustee

    Alistair is an experienced Chartered Accountant, having worked in both large corporations and innovative startups. After earning his qualifications at PwC and working in various financial roles during a 3-year stint in Sydney, he joined BG Group. Over a decade with the company, Alistair transitioned from focusing on finance to leading commercial operations. His journey included international roles, such as a two-year assignment in Tunisia and spearheading the company's entry into the Tanzanian market.

    In 2013, Alistair made waves in the transportation industry by founding London's first all-electric taxi service. As an early mover in the electric mobility landscape, he navigated an array of complexities specific to this fast-paced sector. To tackle some of these challenges, Alistair collaborated with Innovate UK on the creation of specialised telematics technology for managing electric vehicle fleets. His pioneering efforts also led to strategic partnerships with industry giants like Uber and Nissan to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in London.

    After successfully selling his first venture in 2017, Alistair continued to make his mark in the electric vehicle sector. He has been sought after for consulting and advisory roles by organisations such as Octopus, Transport Systems Catapult, and the Organising Committee of the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

    Alistair is driven by innovative new concepts to benefit others.

  • Megann McKinnon - Trustee

    Megann is a seasoned sales and business development professional with over 19 years of experience in the leisure, education, and financial services industries. Her passion for mental health, particularly for those with neurodiversity, deep-rooted trauma, and single caregivers, has led her becoming a volunteer dedicated Parish Councillor and a life coach.

     

    Understanding firsthand the unique challenges faced by single coparents, Megann advocates for accessible and affordable resources being available to all to support mental health. Her focus on mind and body combined with years of fundraising challenges and a solution-oriented approach, equips her to drive positive change.

     As a life coach, Megann helps individuals navigate life's challenges and discover resources to support recovery and resilience. Additionally, Megann is committed to driving the success of Beyond Boundaries by supporting the fundraising, enablement and business development strategy and execution. Her understanding of how the Charity’s purpose resonates with the complementary therapies community plays an integral part in achieving its objectives.
